Thanks to the fine folks at @stlartsupply I got brave enough to try watercolor again. The little sample card was just the kick in the butt I needed. I finally opened up the little Koi Sketchbox pallet and used those to augment the gorgeous colors of the sampler. #watercolor #octopus #cephalopod #painting

Another catch-up day for #inktober2019 since it got away from me and then the dog ate my cube of post-it notes. 😱 “Swing” like a sleepy flying fox, “Pattern” is the name of my daughter’s stuffed snake, and hot cocoa with marshmallows is what we like to drink after we play in the “Snow.” #inktober

Wearing out a big dog on a rainy day isn’t easy. Thanks to @tuckerbudzyn for the idea on this brain puzzle. Getting him working his brain tires him out faster than running laps through the living room. #smartdog #dogtraining

#inktober2019 Day 8: Frail

I got a little behind on #inktober and kind of phoned it in for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s prompt was “build,” which I decided to get punny with. “Bild” is a German word for picture. Sunday’s prompt was “husky” so I decided to make a cute and slightly chubby rock. He just wants to be friends. Today’s was “enchanted” and so I drew something magical. #inktober2019

Grass swimming season is here, and Loki is practicing for the championships. Who will take home the trophy? @thereal_easter_glory is a tough competitor, and @beacontheswissy is a top outdoorsman. Maybe it will be @mooseontheloose_gsmd or will Loki’s brother @lambotheswissy trounce all of them? And we can’t forget the littlest addition, Quinn from @zurichpaddington in the Swissy lawnolymics. Who will reign supreme as the top grass swimmer of the season? 🏆🥇🥈🥉🏆
